What we collect, why, and who it goes to.
When you place an order we receive the name, email address, phone number and shipping address you enter at checkout, along with what you bought. If you join our email list we keep the email address and name you give us.
We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and your card details go directly to them.
To pack and ship your order, to answer you if you contact us about it, and to send you shop news if you asked for that. We do not sell your information to anyone.
We count how the shop is doing so we know which pins people like and which pages are worth keeping. This is our own counting, on our own website. We do not use Google Analytics, we do not use advertising trackers, and nothing about your visit is shared with or sold to anybody.
What is recorded is the page you looked at, whether you added something to the cart, the kind of device you are on, the link that brought you here, and the country (and where available the state) your connection appears to be in. To tell one visit from another your browser generates a random number for itself and stores it locally. That number is not a name and is not linked to you; before it is saved on our side it is put through a one-way hash, so what we hold cannot be turned back into it.
We do not record your IP address. It is used momentarily to work out the country and is then discarded. We never put anything you type into a box, your email address, your shipping address or any payment information into these counts.
If you would rather not be counted at all, open our visitor counting page and switch it off. It applies to the browser you are using, takes effect immediately, and can be switched back on at any time. It is not based on your internet connection, so it never affects anyone else sharing your wi-fi.
Stripe processes payments. Our shipping carrier receives the address needed to deliver your parcel. Our website is hosted by Netlify. Visitor counting is done by us, on this site, and is not sent anywhere else. That is the whole list.
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop hearing from us at any time.
